В данной статье рассматриваются важные аспекты, процедуры и методы регулирования трансграничного перемещения отходов. В результате резкого увеличения численности населения увеличивается и количество продукции, производимой для удовлетворения его потребностей, и количество остающихся в ней отходов. В странах разные подходы к управлению отходами, некоторые страны не готовы полностью перерабатывать и утилизировать отходы, поэтому могут продавать их другим странам. Таким образом, трансграничное перемещение отходов регулируется посредством ряда конвенций или в результате двусторонних соглашений
