This article analyzes the importance and advantages of demonstrating laboratory work on the basis of IT technologies. In particular, the possibilities of using virtual laboratories, computer modeling and visualization tools in the process of studying the radiation spectrum of an atom are considered. Modern information technologies allow for a more understandable and interactive study of physical processes, safe and effective organization of experiments. The article analyzes in detail the role of this approach in increasing educational efficiency, its convenience for students and its impact on the educational process. As a result of the use of IT technologies, students not only deepen their theoretical knowledge, but also increase their interest in experimental experiments.
